Slacker Player, an Internet radio DAP we once thought would kill iPod, is now available for pre-order at the Slacker site for the cool price of $199.00. The Slacker Player comes in 15 (2GB), 25(4GB) or 40 (8GB) stations capacities. There is only one way of enjoying the Slacker Player: by syncing with your PC, which loads your favorites artists to your player.

You cannot choose specific songs or artists yourself; the Slacker service will choose them for you. If you know Slacker, they do a pretty good job predicting what music you like. You can, however, refresh personalized stations via WiFi and using the Heart and Ban buttons, you can personalize your Internet radio music on the go. The 25 stations and 40 stations Slacker Device will sell for $249.99 and $299.99 respectively.
